Born in Curitiba, Brazil and now based in Hawai‘i, Bruno is a third-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt with over 20 years of experience in training, teaching, and mentoring athletes of all levels, from kids to military special forces. He’s the co-founder and head coach of United BJJ Hawaii, one of the island’s most respected martial arts academies, where he brings his deep technical knowledge and Brazilian heritage to life through dynamic instruction and personalized coaching. Beyond the gym, Bruno is a highly respected figure in the martial arts community with a global reputation for excellence. His international experience includes years of instruction at Evolve MMA in Singapore, where he trained alongside world champions and led classes for students from around the world.
