About the event
One year after the tragic fires that impacted our beloved community, BRAVE (www.bravehawaii.org), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is thrilled to announce a FREE event aimed at bringing joy and unity back to our family, friends, and neighbors in Lahaina. With the support of the County of Maui, JDM Hawaii, Pure Aloha Entertainment, Mahi Pono, Commercial Roofing, Hawaii Foodservice Alliance, RM Towell, The Orchid Lei Company, Domino’s Hawaii, and Kilakila Kamau, we are excited to invite the community to join us for this special occasion. This one-time event is expected to draw close to 2,500 attendees, as we come together to uplift spirits and foster a sense of togetherness in our community. Lahaina residents can pick up free tickets starting September 14, 2024, at the following locations, while supplies last: - Kākou Maui Resource Centers at Maui Mall and Lahaina Gateway - Kaoi Radio Group, 1900 Main St. #6, Wailuku Headlining the event will be Hawaii’s Favorite Comedian and Honolulu City Councilman, Augie T, along with music from Da Braddahz Kahaialii, family members of the legendary Hawaiian musician Uncle Willie K, whose family home was tragically destroyed in the wildfires. Additionally, attendees can look forward to a surprise guest performance. As part of this special event, we are excited to announce a giveaway of a vehicle from JDM Hawaii to one lucky Lahaina resident. BRAVE Hawaii is immensely grateful for the support of our partners and Mayor Bissen, as well as the County of Maui, for making this FREE event possible.
